The studio grew out of the city's creative culture, with rave and club life shaping a visual sensibility that is urban, layered, and full of contrast. What started in motion graphics and 2D animation evolved into CGI, digital fashion, motion capture, VR/XR, and immersive experiences. When generative AI arrived, the studio was already built to move fast with it. As an established animation studio Berlin and 3D design studio Berlin, relative.berlin adopts new tools early — not for novelty, but to stay creatively agile. Everything produced is custom. No templates. The hybrid pipeline blends classic CGI with generative tools, led by real artists. Editing, grading, and sound are handled in-house for consistency from first pixel to final delivery.
